Whats up with the .rar files it downloads. I dont have any other planes with .rar ?? How do I intsall these?

rar is an archive file, like a .ZIP file...

you will need something like WinRar or Izarc to extract them...
I use Izarc because it is free

i modified the EFRC sheme to make it look EFRC like, without the naff pastel colours on the bottom and the spiders webs.

I have the yak and its not the painters fault, the fuse is just a little squiggly thats all. This thing is a freakin 3D machine! This is my favorite plane, nice job guys.

Its the same control channel as the 'hook'

After down loading the Yak and un-zipping it never show up on the plane selection list. I checked and it is in the correct directory but how do I make the program SEE the plane?

I found the no 7 button operates the canopy

Unzipped to the planes folder but old skins are only ones that are an option. Same with the p-51 MIss America skin. I have Scotts P-51 and it loads fine, just can not change skins.

I can't even make the sim recognize (see) the plane to even be able to fly it. At least you are one step ahead of me.

When you d/loaded the yak from the Docs you will find its 2 folders before you put the yak folder in the aircraft directory open the folder there you will find the folder you need, take it out of the first folder click on yes to all and thats the folder you put into the aircraft directory,then delete the first folder as the first folder is only a carrying folder.

NOTE: Some d/loads come down as one folder and some come down as 2 folders it pays to check.
OH and you may find a couple of files in the first folder that have to go in the second folder either way so long as youve got all the files in one folder.
