Default REAL FLIGHT SIMULATOR QUESTION

I have the real flight simulator deluxe flight simulator from Great Planes. My problem is that I have a new computer and would like to install it on it, but can not because I can not find the seral number from when I first installed it. Tried contacted the manufacture for help for assistance but was not able to get anywhere because they could not locate my registation from when I first sent it in a few years ago. I am getting back in the hobbies and would like to spend the $200 odd dollars on new flying hardware instead of a new copy of the software.

If anyone can be of any help on a serial number that might work or on locating a copy of the software with a workable code please let me know.

Thank you,
Dan

hi big dan
the serial number should be on the plastic holder the cd came in. without that number I think you are out of luck on it. you might ask gp if you send them the disk if they could somehow correct the problem and allow you to use it. don't see why they would not if you have the original disk. which version is it?
another possibility, if you still have your old computer I think that number is stored in a file either under real flight directory or in your c: root drive.

good luck and happy flying

PT 19,
Thanks for the reply. Had contact the mfg of the version that I have the "Deluxe". Their rwesponse was they could not do anything for since my registration did not come up in their system (I did send the card in when i first purchased it) (their filing system is as good as mine I guess). He also stated that they do not spport that version any longer any ways. I was hoping to get a disc with the needed codes so I could bring my system up. By the way I lost programs but had my data backed up when my old computer died, there is no real way to go back and get the codes from my old system.

Thanks again,
Dan

hi big dan

I don't have the lastest version, I think I have the info on the deluxe that I no longer use. if so I will send you the number off my old program if I can find it. it so will get back to you. don't know where I old disk is but I still may have number in backup info file. I do think it was the deluxe.

good luck and happy flying

hi again bigdan

here is number you might try...don't try to register under this number or you might encounter a problem. I don't think they support this version anymore anyway.
84883629-RF-5142319115 VERSION 1.20.71

let me know if this works.

good luck and happy flying.

just my two 2 cents I doubt that it will . I'm sure the seriel number on your disc will not match the incoded number on his disc.
