Default G2 Multiplayer Problems

When I'm on the internet, I very rarely have any problems with disconnecting from my service provider.....yet, when I'm on G2 multiplayer, It disconnects repeatedly........now just last night, I tried to get in and stay connected for 1/2 hour....finally I joined a fly-in, and didn't get disconnected at all for almost 2 hours.....but that was a first.....
I have a dial-up connection that usually connects at 49.2 kbps..........has this happened to anybody else?

Default I USED TO GET BUMPED OFF TO

Check with you Internet provider, you might have to make some changes in your Internet Dial up. I used get bumped off when theres alot of people on line. Now I just have to worry when my 3 year old some is around the PC, he likes to turn everything on and off that has a no/off button.

Default G2 Multiplayer Problems

nedyob, I actually just checked with them....they said it's nothing in the settings, but my modem might actually be connecting at too high of a speed and with certain applications that could disconnect it more frequently.......go figure......they sent me some instructions on capping the modem speed to 42kbps....so I'll try that and see how it goes.....
I've got one of those rascals around also.....he stopped turning it off when he was playing one of HIS games and he did it.....he didn't like that!
