I have an Athlon 2.6, 1Gb RAM, Radeon 9800 Pro 128 and use Reflex XTR with all settings turned right up and its silky smooth. You should have no problem with your setup.

Mark.

Neither CPU speed nor the amount of memory matter much when it comes to the 3D graphics applications!
The only important component is the video card. Search the Net for video card comparison and see how your card stacks up against those, which run R/C simulators well.
I have nVidia 6800 card and is kicks! Running AFPD at 1900x1400 resolution (the maximum my monitor supports) with all the deatiails and smoothest frame rates.

Please help, I have a Dell Dimension 4600, Intel Pentium 4 at 2.8 GHz. Part #7329D 256 MB DDR at333MHz, 120 GB serial ATA hard drive 7200 RPM. intel Pro 100M intigrated PCI NIC card, intigrated intel extreme Graphics 2. Do I have what is needed to run AFPD? Do I have an open GL compatible Graphics card, at least 64 MB? Also I don't have a radio and I don't want to buy one till next summer, does anyone have an old one around they would like to sell? I called Dell and spent an hour on the phone, and ended up with some guy in India that I could not understand, so I gave up. I know, I know, it is my fault that I could not understand that guy! I think it is great ,the way you guys and gals help each other! THANKS foe any help. Ray

quando I don't know much about the intel integrated graphics your computer has, but if you needed I could sell you an old tower hobbies six channel transmitter for say $25. Of course you still will need to find a cable. I also have a hitec focus 4 radio with a bad battery for $15. When using real flight you need to turn on the transmitter, I don't know if this is true for AFPD though.

I just installed AFPD on a Dell Dimention 5100 P4 2.8 Ghz w/512 memory. It has a X300SE ePCI Video Card with 128 mg shared memory. It runs very well...frame rates of 100-120 in 800x600 full screen. I`m very happy with it!! It ran on my buddies machine with the Intel intergrated Video card that Dell uses...It also ran OK...Frame rates of about 60-70... And Yes...the transmitter needs it`s own batteries to work.
