Default Fixing problem planes on G3???

I have a few questions

First of all I have downloaded a model that was supposed to fly very similar to a Mini Funtana. Well it will not knife edge at all. It falls out of the sky in a knife edge no matter how much rudder I add to it. It also trys to roll out of a kife edge terribly, Hover is next to impossible.

Also another problem I have is getting some of my models to pull the tail around when I go inverted and push it hard over the nose into an inverted flat spin etc. I have tried moving the CG around to get them to work and I can get it close but then it effects the ability to hover etc.

Sure would be nice to get some of the Skunkworks models again. I have downloaded a couple of the Skunkworks edits in the past before he closed his site. I would just like to offer a big [sm=thumbdown.gif] thanks to Knife edge and Greatplanes for upsetting Rick etc so they shut down their edits and paints. [sm=thumbdown.gif]

I one day hope that Rick and (forget his name) start sharing their great models and paints with the rest of us.

What's wrong with that one? I've flown the F40 and that's the way it flew.

You might want to check on the veracity of that statement.

Why don't you start with the default settings. If that doesn't work, try improving pilot skill.

Well if that is how a mini funtana is going to fly then I am just going to smash mine with a hammer before taking it out this spring.

Only reason I asked is because I have downloaded some of the Skunkworks models from Ricks site and I love them. I just hope they are close to how a real 3D model shold fly.

I was hoping someone could help me better in adjusting the one I have downloaded so it actually flys. The one I have is hidden by the extra330s. When you open up the editor you can see the skeleton of a Mini Funtana.

It is on the G3 swap page at [link=http://www.realflight.com/swap/g3aircraft.html]http://www.realflight.com/swap/g3aircraft.html[/link] scroll down a little. You have to have add on 4 for it to work.

I guess I'll have to get add on 4.

BTW read this:
I agree wholeheartedly. KE put G3 out right before Christmas 2004 knowing full well that it was not ready. The helicopters weren't even in the first release. I suppose they didn't want to miss out on the Christmas money they would get by selling their inferior product. I also suppose they thought we would all just think it was hunky dorey that the product wasn't ready and that we would wait patiently for them to try and get it running properly. Well, it's been over a year now that I have owned G3. There have been vast improvements but KE should have released the product this year, not last year. There was no need for them to design the product for such high end computers and video cards either. When I bought G3, I had also just bought one of the most powerful laptops on the market. It will run G3 but there are no shadows. That's like buying a BMW that only does 40 mph. At that time, the KE people, in their forums, said that my video card WAS compatible and they also said there was a shadow fix for my video card in the works. Well, the fix has never come about.

I truly don't know that I will ever buy another KE product again. I feel like we were all screwed pretty badly. The guys at KE would never admit any of it. If they would, I'd probably be a little more likely to throw my money their way again once they make a new simulator. Its all such a darn shame because G2 was so awesome!

Now, all of that said, Rick and I both are making our repaints available again. I also have about 35 edited aircraft for G3. I have received some requests to make some electric models and I have four or five of them available now also.

Well Rick pulled his site down that had some nice models on it. Jays is still up though.
