Big TV for AFPD and G3

My Feedback: (46)
What do I have to do to hook my computer to a large TV, so I can run G3 and AFPD on it? The local hobby store has real flight running on a big screen. I do have a TV out on my video card but just hooking into that doesn’t work very well.
Thanks George

I hooked up my LCD Projector to my laptop, I had a 300 inch screen while trying to fly through woodys tube track!!! I got dizzy real fast.

you do have to plug the cable into the TV out port on the video card...
BUT, then right click on your desktop, go to Properties, then go to the settings tab, and there should be a drop down to select what display device you want to use, if not, click the Advanced tab, and you can set up another monitor (the tv) there.
I like to set my resolution to twice as wide as normal, so i can slide AFPD over to the TV (my monitor and my TV are only about 2 feet apart, so it works nicely) and i can keep up RCU or somthing else on the main monitor.
hope it works,

yup can see it much better now[&:][8D]
another thing about the TV thing, when you use it, you can set the TV as the primary monitor, and run it full screen, which gets better framerates
