Default RF Add-on Vol. # 5 Trouble

Good Evening,
I just purchased the Real Flight Add-On vol. 5 from my LHS this evening and when I try to install it nothing happens. The guys at the LHS had to give me a new Product Key so that it would work with the G3 System but it's not even getting that far. My system is runing Windows XP Pro w/SP2 and the chipset is AMD w/ 1GB RAM. The G3 sim runs just fine on it but this add-on just doesan't want to load at all. Is this a common problem or is there something that I could adjust to make it install correctly. Please advise.

Thanks,

Mark

This happened to me too. Are you saying that when you load it the program for the add-ons asks for what language and never installs?????????????????? Then you have to leave it alone for about 45 minutes until it will bring up the serial code screen

Mine doesn't get that far but in truth I haven't let it sit for 45 minutes. The most I had waited was about 15 - 20 minutes, then I rebooted and tried again. Could the problem be related to the media disk or is it something else entirely. I'm going to call support today and talk to their staff about the issue.

Thanks,

Mark

Then you should wait a little bit longer. Just to try it out

you probably have to go get you'r computer fixed. that's what I had to do just to get G3 to work AND add-ons 3,4, and 5

hehe... I'm an IT Manager and if I can't fix my own computer then we got a serious problem. Hopefully, it's just a small glitch with the application and I'll be able to start flying the Osprey and some of the other new aircraft. We'll see what their tech support says on the issue.

Thanks,

Mark
