Default Giles 202toc is ready for take-off in G3!

I think nemo will have it on his site later on.

You can give me an email to send it to in the meantime if you want to try it out. Or PM me if you like.

I did the 3Dmodel and Ryan Archer did the flight model

edit* woops forgot to mention that nemo_uk modelled the pilot figure

I see you give credit to the pilot figure, but why not IPACS for use of the trim?

G3 left, AFPD right. Nuff said.

I would hope that no one here condones stealing of ANY kind. I guess it's viewed as trolling when you appear to be trying to start up the fight again. I don't know who is right in this case, but maybe you could just start a new thread to discuss this. I for one do NOT need planes that badly that I'd use ones that were stolen. If this turns out to be the case, I will delete them imediately, and help spread the word. I don't pretend to know copyright law, but I can't see how you could prove that Rick's planes are copies w/o the wireframe data to support that. Would it not be the same thing other people are doing when they copy a plane for Reflex or AFPD? Or maybe I'm missing something?

Edit: Well my message makes little sense now that STL deleted his, but I'll leave for now. STL will know.

I have proof! If you have the Shockflyer or Mower loaded. Go into the directories where the models are. Now look at the images of the textures. What your looking at are 3 views taken from AFPD model editor!!!!!

I have the Shockflyer. I will check. I don't think the Mower has been posted, has it?

No I don't have the mower, he never released it. But if you look at this image you can see the mower was 3 viewed from AFPD model editor as well. I wanted Rick to release the mower for G3. I asked him only and very nicely to put FlyingThingZ on the model somewhere to identify it and he made things very complicated. Then I noticed from the pictures below he took the models from AFPD model editor. Then I noticed more models ... the of course the Giles trim.

Okay STL, It looks like the importer takes the original .G3X file and converts it to 3 new files with extensions .KEX, .plnG3, and .bse. But, nothing can be viewed there. Also, in the program under airplane editing, it shows only the 3D view. Do you know where to look for this? I'm assuming you've checked it on G3.

Edit: Are you refering to the image in your post? That looks like some folders on Rick's computer with models he was working on.. it's not a folder common to (within) G3.

I don't understand the screen shot of the windows filesystem. I can't see anything in that picture. What it that supposed to show?

The wireframes are obviously different from ricks to the one from AFPD. That's very easy to see with them side by side. Without seeing the source image it's hard to tell about the paint scheme. I've never liked that scheme on the plane. If that is a plane that comes with AFPD (I don't know I don't own it) then Rick should change the paintscheme to something different. I agree with that.

But hes saying that rick stole everything...which is BS...just trying to smear rick's name cause rick didnt want to play the game by his rules...you can see it in most of his recent posts...

Tick showed progress shots of the giles while he was building it...so no way its a copy.

The geometry is completely different in ricks models to the afpd ones, even if the end shape is the same.

You would think as an admin of a forum here on RCU you would be expected to hold yourself to a higher standard and not start flame wars, but it seems lately that it what you excel at...

STL, Rick, Ryan, and evmo have said that it really only takes a day to make a shocky. I can easily get 3 views by buying one. Same with the mower and Giles. Oh, BTW, the Giles scheme CAN'T be copied either. Rick had to do that one up in his computer with paint shop I believe. And it's a Comp-ARF scheme. NOT afpd. You have no right to claim it as yours. BTW, how did you get files off of Ricks computer? That trojan??(a virus) Are you aware that that's illegal???(much more so than copying AFPD files to G3 which isn't possible)

One more thing. If you don't want me to not post your nasty PMs over the internet so that you can respond, clear your PM box as I won't be emailing you.(don't want to risk getting another virus)

you cannot getany of rick's planes anymore, dion threatened to sue, so rick had to stop making planes. and he is not making anymore till this deal with the sueing is over. i think it is totaly qrong to sue somone just because the color schemes on 2 models look i deantical. it just means that whoever made the giles in aerofly as a good painter and modeler, and rick is a good painter and modeleer, so they are both very high quality models, don't get me wrong, i like both sim's, and it would be wrong to take some oelse's hard work, but rick did not do that, what would it take for you to call all of this of stl. if you wantd i bet rick could change the lawn mower scgeem and put a sticker on it, if that would make you happy. but there is absolutely no reason to sue some one over a free model. because of you, rick is not making any models, and he hasn't been himself. and we will never forgive you for that. why aren't you aswering and of my emails or pm's. al i want to know is: can i have permision to make models for g3 withought you yelling at me. i am just a little kid and i don't want to get into trouble, besides, i have posted pictures of me building some of the models. is that good enough for you, i'll even change the color scheme a little, will that make you happy? i don't want to start any flame wars, i just want permision even tho i don't need it, to make some models, that have been made in aerofly and reflex first. if i send you pictures of me building all of the planes, would that be good enough for you? ok

ryan archer (who wants to have permiison to build models for g3 withought getting i trouble :-) )

i agree with ryan. you ruined rick. and i agree that rick hasn't been himself lately. you cant just go and sue someone because he mad a color scheme that looks identical(as ryan siad). i really liked ricks planes. Just lay off and let rick build his planes.[>:]

Harv, I didn't get a virus here. I've had too many in the past and I currently have 3 antivirus softwares running.
