Default Hi all

First post, was regged before, but it's been a while ago and so I reackon I've been wiped and I was into my cars then really.

Anyway. I decided to do what I shouldda done a long time ago and thats is get into flying.

I ordered me AFPD with Tx from al's hobbies to get me started as it seems to be the cheapest option for a beginner like me.

I really want to end up flying both planes and heli's (yeh I set my hopes high, lol) so AFPD seemed the best overall choice from my leeching sesh a couple of days ago on theese here boards.

Is there any tips you can give me for AFPD, where to start? what to start with? maybe sites to get files/downloads etc, sorry if this is a repeat post, I havn't seen nothing browsin up and down so thought I'd ask

I am going head first into all this just because I have alot of interest in learning and it's the way that usually works best for me I find, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot

Jabb3r

Dont know much about AFPD, cause i use G3, but i guess just start out with a high wing trainer, and just kinda circle around for a while. just remember that you dont need full throttle to fly...half throttle should fly the plane around with no problem.

Well bad news I'm afraid, my order was out of stock so I cancelled it, but I been looking around and I can't beat the price I was getting (al's hobbies)

Anyone have any ideas where to buy AFPD with the Game Commander

Also I was thinking mebe buyin the software seperate and getting a good tx I can use to practise and also that I'll use for flying irl. (what tx would you reccomend for this)

Cheers

Jabb3r

Done a bit of browsin and I'm leanin toward the FF7 or FF9, both seem to have more than I should need in a long time and I can get used to tx's features.

Would you say that the Game Commander would be sufficient for me to reach a decent level of flying (planes and heli's)

Are the axis accurate etc.

Thanks

game commander is fine. but i always feel that the best thing to do is to get to know your transmitter, makes such a difference in your flying.
