Default G3 Video card compatibility

I've been thinking about getting G3..I currently have G2...But on there website it says theres "texture error-unconfirmed" with my card... I have an ATI Radeon x1600 512mb. What exactly are texture errors? Anyone else out there have this card?

Thanks
Collin

I've used it with an 9700 pro, X800 XT and X1600 ... no problems

I installed two different ATI cards that were on the list of working cards and never could get G3 to run. I was finally told by the tech staff to get a GForce card. I returned the G3 software for a refund.

often its not the card its the driver when I first got my G-3 I got a gforce 6600 and it still wouldn't work went to the web site and down loaded the driver from there.
the other night I down loaded the G-3.5 and some new planes and what do ya know freeze up so back to the web site for the latest driver and poof the sim is good to go.
BTW if you havn't seen or used the 3.5 it is pretty nice definitely a up grade the planes fly better and I think they are closer to real life
