G2 USB Interlink controller and FS2002

Hello,
I consider ordering RF2 with the USB interlink controller.
I wonder if this USB interlink controller can be used as a USB-joystick for FS2002? My OS is WindowsMe.

It certainly works with my FS2000. Just appears like any other USB controller.
