A very big new update is comming in few days. ClearView has been ported to new 3d library and this release will be the first one with the new library. The release includes a number of new models from Ken Northup to grand total of 63-64 models in the base download. The new 3d libraries will bring the ClearView graphics to complete different level and will allow to add many substantial features that where not possible before. So, stay tuned...

Here is a link to the beta version:
http://clearviewrc.com/ClearViewSetup467.exe
There are NO new features (only the smoke is new). The new stuff will be added after I see that there are no compatibility problems and ClearView can be switched to the new libraries without harm to existing users. Please e-mail me if any problems.

I tried it out a bit tonight. The smoke looks tons better.
Dell Dimension 8250
- 2.4ghz P4 processor
- 1gig ram
- 128mb Radeon 9800 Pro
I had a few random issues. With both the Raptor model and the t-rex demo models I had the sim freeze and then reset for no reason. I did not see the issue with either of the plane models. It acted like I had crashed the helicopter and reset the sim even though I had not crashed and was infact way up in the air. I don't know if that's a byproduct of it being the demo version or what. Just thought it was a little odd. I only saw it twice.
I also noticed that the recorded demo of the profile foamy in the gym is showing the model not exactly following the flight pattern. Looks more like a 4-d flight
Good job. Every time I try it the sim always has taken huge leaps.

Here it is:
http://clearviewrc.com/ClearViewSetup467.exe
Full screen mode (as requested many times, sorry it is late), and thanks to Ken Northup, many new models.
This is the first version with a new 3d library - jme. If you have any problems please report them to me at [email protected] (remove 123). If you need to compare the frame rate when using the old 3d libraries (xith3d), double click on clearview1.cmd in clearview forlder and this will start the program with the older 3d library. I am interested in what is your frame rate for Raptor 60 in initial position, Osage Park, No Smoke and No Sound. Please report the rates here, from clearview.cmd (new libraries) and clearview1.cmd (old libraries). Include your CPU and video card make and model.
Thanks,
Stefan
