Default Set up for 3D

How do you set up an airplane on G2 for practicing hovering, harriers, etc. The 232 or extra 330 for instance.
Thanks for any help on this gents.

Ive got the cap 232 2X. but it seems a little too easy to do the 3D stuff. Any other aircraft you can recommend??

Default Set up for 3D

Well, I'd like to try some of this 3D stuff but my Stock add on planes aren't set up right.

I have the (Old)realflight sim with the Add-on that included the red and white Extra 330 3D plane, Harrier...etc..etc. The Extra has the power but that nose really wants to drop off one way or the other. Other planes include the Cap and the Edge 540.

I'll see if I can get some of those files open...the ones I downloaded at that site. Maybe I'll be able to get something out of them that will help...ie set ups, CG, control surface deflection etc.

I'm pretty sure about having the skill but I don't have the machine set up right. If what I currently have represents a 3D flyable plane...well, it'll end up in the ground about 80% of the time.

So, what makes those planes able to hang? I figure that if a guy can fly coordinated multipoint rolls at 10 feet off the ground he should be able to hang the plane on its prop in 3D. Where can I find some hints on how to get set up?

Thanks to anyone who can provide links...hints etc.

John

Default A GOOD EXTRA FILE TO TRY!!

Hi FLUG,
Go to AERO3D.NET and down load the Buddy Hale 40%
Extra or the Cap 2X
Both of these are good 3D plane scemes.

I've downloaded the 2X cap from aero3d.net....do large scale planes really 3D that easily? I found I could hover on the first flight with that plane having never done it before. Things were a bit twitchy with the big throws and no expo so landings are interesting though...

The stock cap 232 is a great plane to try to learn to TR with....its hard...but if you can make it TR...it will be alot easier with your models...I downloaded some of those from aero3d and they are great fliers, but hover and TR to easy....try that stock cap and just stay with it...its hard as hell to get it tostand on its tail some time....but it can really get wound up on you....Gator

im new to the flight simulator thing and on the aero3d website you can download any of the planes and fly them on the G2 simulator? Would you be able to do the same with the aerofly pro? Im still debating on which simulator to get the AFP or the G2

Thanks,
Santi
