I cant get my 9393 to hook up... followed fsone faq ...I made a new model, mdl reset, PPM modulation.
Then I plug the cord into DSC on the Tx and to the FSONE dongle box. The Tx will turn on but windows does not read any activity in the game controller setup thing ...
What am I doing wrong?
cheers

properly by FS One when you run the sim. The solution is to contact
Horizon Product Support @ (877) 504-0233 and they can help you. This
seems to be a Windows + hardware (registry) problem that is not
connected to FS One ... and hence the culprit is Windows we think.
This issue seems to happen on a very small fraction of systems - we've
never been able to duplicate it here.

Thanks Michael!
I just got it to work an hour ago ... not sure why I think its the order you plug things in ....
Now the next quesiton is:
How do you set it up so that FSOne does none of the mixing at ALL is done in the 9303?
Is that even possible?
When I do the calibration it seems hard to do as most channels are mixed from the 9303 and during the calibration several channel move at the same time ...
cheers

Ok, that's good news!
When you calibrate w/ the 9303, things should not (will not) be mixed. Make sure you've got a default (non-mixed) setup on the real 9303.
Here's some info on using the 9303 w/ the sim. Doing things like the FAQ outlines makes the 9303 look like the TacCon controller in which case all the mixing is done in the FS One software while everything on the 9303 is not mixed.
http://www.inertiasoft.com/fsonefaq/#Q1013-FS1
If you want to use your own mixing on the 9303, that's all doable. But in that case, it will still be necessary to calibrate with a non-mixed setup. After you calibrate, then change models on the real 9303 and fly.
In the Tx pick window is a group called 9303, and in there you can find some pass through (non mixed) FS One Tx setups. Going that route is more work because you have to assign the channels (like in real).
It's probably easier to make a copy of an FS One Tx and then change the Expos and D/R's in the sim. The expo functions just like a real JR radio (i.e. it's the same equation ... perhaps that's in the "more than you wanted to know department" ).

which swash type should I use?
When a 120 degree swash is selected I cant calibrate channels because there is 3 moving at the same time ...
How do I tell FSOne that its getting the swash mixed as 120 degree?
The problem now is that the controls are all erratic .... I deleted all mixes in the FSOne remote .. but after the calibration i.e. pitch controls aileron
Thanks for your help!

When you calibrate, FS One will ask you to move through each channel one at a time. Ignore that. Just wiggle the sticks and make sure that they output +-100%. All sliders should move as long as you move all the sticks and switches on the 9303 (or TacCon for that matter). Really all FS One looks at is the max/min on the sliders. Once you've gotten all the sliders to move full throw (in the sim), then click 'next' repeatedly until you exit the calibration.
Does that help?
BTW (and this is important) - I know nothing about helis and their setup. Other people are working on that part of the sim. So if your questions go into the heli Tx side... someone else will need to chime in here.

yes that makes sense ...
But what I am wondering is the 9303 will send the stick movements mixed for a 120 degree swash ... the FSONE takes the stick movements and applies the already 120 degree mixed stuff onto a 120 deg swash messing it all up ...
I need to be able to tell the FSOne that all comes pre mixed ..
not sure if I am making sense

Basically, just go to the "Edit Transmitter" page in FS One and click on the green Mixing button. From the "Configure Tx Mixing" dialog that appears, click on CCPM in the right list of mixes, and then click on the red "Remove" button. This will remove CCPM mixing. At that point, you'll need your actual radio to handle CCPM mixing.
Let me know if this works or if I've completely missed what you are after.

It works perfectly now ! Thanks Brian and Michael for the great support!!!
The issue was inverted channels .. I inverted a few CCPM channels and its great now! I am using 100% mixing from the 9303 ...
cheers
