Hello Everyone.

I'm sure this request has been asked a great number of times before but, I need help NOW. Once I have installed G2, I would like to know what airport to choose, what background to use, smoke on or off, what aircraft to choose, what options to use, what view to use, what to edit on the aircraft, motor, and radio, etc., so that I can begin practicing on my simulator. Since I am new, I will be practicing and flying in the Basic Class and will be using an 25% Edge 540 as my competition airframe. Please help me fellows. I want to learn how to use the simulator effectively. Thanks

Default its a game

It's just a game. Crashing doesn't cost money, so play around with the different options. There's no wrong way of going about it. Just have fun and you'll learn to fly better at the same time.

I would start with fun fly or somewhere that is open and not alot of obstacles. turn smoke off unless you will be using it in real life so you dont get used to watching the trail . I usually use the look at aircraft view and I have autozoom turned off. Start with the trainer but fly all of the planes, so you get a feel for how they fly. Like the other post said, have fun and dont be afraid to mess it up. I haven't tried it but I read on the Knifeedge website that if you go into the control panel and type CLEAN in the tech support code box you can reset the sim to default options. So if you do mess around and you cant get it back like it was you can do that. I hope this helps you a little. I am new to this but I have been using g2 for a few months now. Have fun!
