Hi everyone,

This post is aimed at G3.5 users who would like to contribute ideas to future Expansion packs. Once this thread dies down, i will forward this in an email to Knife Edge and see what they could do. Also, im very interested in ideas other people have. Limit 21 "Expansions" per pack, anything from photofields to 3D Scenery's to Helis to Airplanes.

come to think of it, FS ONE probably signed the deal with Hangar 9, i doubt well see hangar 9 planes on G 3.5. Come to think of warbirds, i think other multi-engine bombers other than the flying fortress would be sweet, like a B-25 Mitchell, or hell, maybe even a B-52....

I would love to see a big petrol powered Spitfire, 100 inch ish.

ya, I would also like more of those Warbirds, the ones they make in there are mostly the .60 size engines usually other than that mustang, The B-52 sounds really nice and the ME 262 that you wanted is on Knife Edge Fourums, to download.

I dont have the 3.5 but I am planning on getting it as soon as we get our new computer. What about some giant scale aerbatis like a 40% stuff like a yak and more warbirds.

Nitro- great Idea- Real water. I like the real dust at Joes, So water should be an easy add-on.

How about Great Planes Giant Super Chipmunk,
And they should also add more engine options.

Knife Edge is pretty much getting new planes or airports or aircraft variants every day, there also recently someone posted a C-130 in there with turboprops, and a B-24, and a lot of other things.

In all of the Add-ons, I have yet to see a F18, C or E/F variant would be nice. Turbine of course, based on a Skymaster or Tamjets model.

I would like to see more engine options. As it stands, there's not an engine on the list that I currently use. How about a SuperTigre 2300 instead of the 4500? More Saito options? I don't remember seeing a radial engine in the mix. It would be nice to have a lightweight Katana or Giles 202 like Ultra R/C offers and how about a Burrito or Mojo for 3D?

I'd love to see KE add the old Midwest Super Hots (60 sized) model to their lineup. Just my 2 pennies!

I would like to see the Andrews A-ray with max25 and Barn Door Ailerons. Also the origanl Sig Kadet would be great too.

As far as I know, Knife Edge won't be making anything pertaining to Horizon Hobby (JR, Saito, Hangar 9, Seagull, etc) so we'll have to stick with Great Planes or Tower Hobbies aircraft, and hope that 3rd party designers build the planes we want (check out the Knife Edge forums for downloadable planes).

Personally, I'd like to see more scale 3D planes, especially Great Planes line of giants:

1/4 Scale Wagstaff Extra
Ultimate Biplane 1.60
The new giant Sukhoi

All with gas motors!!

I'd also say start including fewer electrics, we're getting overrun with them, and include planes that people will actually buy (who would buy the steaming pile of crap that is the Knife Edge Profile electric from Exp. #3??)

More .40-.60 size planes that typical pilots will fly, including:

Sig 4-Star
Goldberg Extreme 330
OMP Katana V2
Lanier planes, like the Shrike and some aerobats
Some .40 size (or thereabouts) 3D planes

Plus a LOT more engine options.

I have a huge list of things I want for the next simulator version, but that will have to wait.

I'd like to see a true 3D-pattern hybrid. Great Plane's Venus lacks elevator authority to make it true hybrid. So far only Hangar 9 has a true hybrid in the Showtime, and OMP Fusion X3D is a true hybrid. Fliton's Inspire 60 and 90 come close.
To circumvent copyright constraints, GP can just create a fantasy model but with the physics tuned to behave exactly like those.
It be great to be able to practice for so called 'artistic' aerobatic sequencs. So far there is no such model out of the hundreds available for RF3.5.

I really wish it had the Hangar 9 Arrow 40 because that is what I am going to use as a trainer and wish I could fly that in G3.5.

I bet a common request is whatever trainer a person chooses, maybe they should do an entire expansion pack of trainers. It could add all of the popular trainers and some features for beginners. Or maybe just an add-on could just add the planes, if nobody can think of any new features that might help beginners that would warrant a whole expansion pack. It would also put them all in one product, so that the experienced pilots don't have to get trainers in the other add-ons and expansions. The experienced pilots could still buy the trainers if they want them. I imagine that one of the things this software is most used for is new pilots learning to fly trainers, so an add-on or expansion pack that added most of the most popular trainers all in one product might be a really good idea.

you guys really need to check the www.knifeedge.com swap pages theres a bunch of warbirds from park flyers to giant scale, as well as H-9 pts, 60 size,and 150 size mustangs, the list is quite large,as well as photo fields to down load.
the list is growing.
