Default Futaba to USB

Anyone know, or can point me to someone who does know how to make a Futaba (6 pin din) to USB cable? I have a bunch of buddy cords and usb cords are cheap. I thought I'd take a stab at making one.

Hi Broke_n,

The attached link should tell you how the pins go for trainer cords. It might also be helpful for the USB ones.

http://www.mftech.de/buchsen_en.htm

If you use google and search the various threads, there's another figure similar to the above but more specific to telling which pin goes to which wire/function in the connectors. I bet there's alsoone for the other USB end.

If it saves you some trouble, I think GWS makes some inexpensive ones in Taiwan but you have to pay about 3 times what they're worth for freight.

some of these sites may have some clues for you....

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/forumid_138/tt.htm (same here)

http://www.rcgroups.com/simulators-172/ (ditto)

Thanks,
Dave
