Default Where is the runway??

This has probably been asked several times and if so, I humbly beg for forgivenes. How do I set it so I can see the runway? Seems very hard to land when you have to guess where it is located. I have realflight 3.5
Thanks

If you press the "down" arrow momentarily, the simulator will "look down" at the ground for a moment, before looking back up at the plane. By "looking down" at the correct time, you will find the end of the runway, and you will eventually recognize that a "certain ridge on the far mountain range" aligns with the south end of the runway, while "that grove of yellowish trees" is nearly in line with the north end of the runway. Every flying field has its own visual clues, you just need to learn to recognize them.

try putting your view settings :camrea type- fixed and the zoom type-keep ground in view. and see if that helps

Thanks for the information. I will try it. When I was at the Toledo (weak signals) they were demostrating the FS ONE and it seems to be easier to operate.

I think they both have a "keep ground in view" option, and the Toledo demo was probably set that way.

I fly my RF3.5 set to keep the ground in view all the time and it seems more realistic.

Thanks DaRock--I know that it sure looked easier to operate. Watched a young man hover and it really looked real.

Trouble with keep ground ----- is the plane gets smaller too fast compared to real flying. Knife edge site says it can't be fixed.
