Default Will a 9CHF work with G2?

Does anyone know if I can use a Futaba 9CHF with Realflight G2? On a different thread, I was told it would fry.

Any input would be appreciated.

9CHF is the same transmitter as 9CAF, except for programming deafaults and naming of the switches.
I've flown 9CAF with RF G2 as well as a bunch of other sims. You just need a converter with the new style square plug. Tower sells JR-to-9C converter foraround $5. Works great!

I'm not sure about all of this, but this is what I have gathered reading others posts here on RCU.

The original owner has to unregister with RealFlight to free up the serial number. The serial number is located on the back of the CD case. Here is a link to RealFlight's website.

Hope this helps.

I just bought a previously owned copy from someone on eBay. I emailed Realflight and they replied back saying they need more info (who the copy was registered to, their phone # on file, ect. I forwarded it to the guy I bought it from and he called them and it worked. I went from the main control panel and registered it.

Realflight rocks! I just bought my Eclipse and can't wait to use it tonight!!!

When using your own transmitter, do you leave it turned off? Do you turn it on? Does it suck up your batteries?

Curious people would like to know.
