G4 Install problem
Having problems getting Real Flight 4 to run on my laptop. It installs OK then when I attempt to run it it has "error creating effect shadowreceivedirectionwater".
Any help would be appreciated.

You may have DX9 installed, but that alone does not assure compatibility.
There are cards made and sold today that use DX7/8 chipsets, which the buyer may be unaware of.
These are typically the lower cost boards such as the Nvidia 6200's or other x200 series cards.
