Use a buddy box connector and plug your futaba radio into the interlink controller. The interlink is just that, an inter-link. The controls on your futaba radio would then be the controls that operate the sim model. All the interlink would do then is connect your TX to the pc (and resolve the copyright protection).

One caution - when using your own transmitter it is advised to either extend the antenna or remove the crystal. Using your transmitter with the antenna colapsed will cause the RF modulator circuitry (or something like that) to overheat and could damage your radio. If you have a Futaba radio it's easy to just pull the crystal off the back - saves battery power too. Plus, if your close to the flying field you don't have to worry about "shooting some one down" - after-all you are transmitting a signal.

Thank you guys for your help. I forgot to say that I do not have interlink. I just have the control connected to the pc usb port (I had G3 and upgradedto 3.5) . Is there a way to prepare a cable and connect the Futaba into the usb? Thanks

I hope you didn't throw it away or anything, because you cannot control G3.5 or G4 without the original controller, also called the Interlink. The program will not allow it. You can use any radio as a controller but you have to have it plugged into the original controller, and the original plugged into the USB port.

The G3 controller is the InterLink Controller that works as an interface. If you look on the back, you will see a buddy box cord female connection. It will work as an interface for your Futaba TX no matter how broken the switches etc.
