Hi! I know I'm new to this forum but thought someone here might find this useful..
I've been playing around with FMS on my windows PC and wanted to try out my controller's
USB interface on my iBook. Due to the lack of any decent free Mac RC flight sim I got a hold
of the FlightGear "real" flight simulator to train myself to do banked turns from a cockpit perspective
first. I noticed that my controller would require significant remapping and recalibration on the iBook
and then discovered there is not really any equivalent of the windows control panel for Game Controllers...
>> cut to the chase:
I just found this interesting piece of software ControllerMate that seems to be an ideal interface
to customising and remapping controllers of all types, and I was able to get my Twister RC transmitter
to work quite capably as a joystick in FlightGear on my iBook laptop.
I do not know of any other equivalents to this program and it may be a useful first step in getting a
workable Mac RC simulator solution. Has anybody else had any experience with this program?
