and i was wondering if you can tell me if the realflight g5 sim will work on it? thanks

Realflight G4.5 was notorious for not working on laptops and various ATI video systems, not sure if G5 is any better. Contact Realflight for guarantee that it will work before purchasing.

thanks, will do. this is the only computer i have right now, and i would really like to try out this sim. if anybody else has any input, i would really like to hear it

Download the G4.5 Trial and see if it runs. If it does, G5 is nearly guaranteed to run...and it apparently runs with about the same performance.

There is only a G4 trial not G4.5 or G5. You may be able to run the G4 demo (and G4) but not G4.5 or G5 even if the demo runs. However, if you can't even run the demo then None of them will work.

well guys, i contacted realflight through e-mail. i gave them the specs for the laptop and they said it should run, so i orderd one. we shall see.
anyway, in the mean time. i'm now downloading the demo of 4. to see how it runs. i'll report back when i get 5.

It should work. I have a bottm line EMachines E627, with a single core 1.6 ghz amd and it runs fine. Sometimes I turn off some of the graphics options and it runs smoother.-BW
