What is the correct way to mix my fuel ratio? The local shop owner says its a ratio of oil, and nitro to the meth. Example (100 oz. meth, 15 oz. nitro, 18 oz oil) for a 15%mix with 18% oil.

I thought it was a percentage of the total content. Example (67oz. meth, 15 oz nitro, 18 oz. oil ). For the same blend.

You are correct with your method. I have a neat mixing chart for excel if you want it. Let me know and I can email it to you.

I've attached the excel mix chart in a zip file. If anyone can't unzip let me know and I can email it direct.

If you look closely at the arithmetic of the example you quoted you will see its flaw. Your example would yield a total of 133 oz fluid. 15 oz of this would be Nitro. 15 oz in 133oz is not 15%.
