RE: 1/4 scale Ferrari
its based off of the 1/4 scale Yankee car, but its all custom built from a very tallented man in Holland. The body was also custom made with carbon fiber inlay. There is a very nice red ferrari body on its way that is detailed nicely. Hope to get it at the end of this week.

it's a shame one would invest so much money to only be placed on a shelf to look at... why don't you ever run your cars? absolutely makes no since.

RE: 1/4 scale Ferrari
Whats great about this hobby is there are a lot of ways for people to enjoy it. Some people drive, bash, race, restore or build. There are no rules.
I have been in this hobby for 22 years. I just don't get a thrill out of running a RC car up and down the street. I prefer to appreciate the work put into these machines and the techniques used to build them. They are investment grade cars. The days of me spending 1-2k at the hobby shop to have a car that at the end of the day is only worth a couple hundred bucks is over for me, but i can see how people enjoy that.

As nice as that car is I wouldnt drive it either, especially if it gains value.. Although it would be extremely tempting...

RE: 1/4 scale Ferrari
Ok I thought it was maybe Paul due to the wheels they seem to me the same.
Yes the future car of Paul is looking smart, will be a nice car once it is done.

Front bumper looks really weak, Would explode if you hit a rock at 50. I have never seen a RC car gain value, whats the point, not enough money to worry about, put some fuel in that thing and see what it will do.

RE: 1/4 scale Ferrari
The TR has a 25" wheelbase. take that, multiply it times four and compare to the full size version. Thats how quarterscale cars are scaled. Its not like 1/5 scale trucks and buggies. If you scale those, they come out to around 1/6 scale.
