That thing looks pretty bouncy, is it going to have enough dampening with the weight of an engine in there? Aren't you guys using a Honda clone engine? Those are pretty heavy...

Arr... what you have there is the body, not the chassis....

Looks good though.
Still can't get over how big it is.
Gonna be awesome to see it drive around.

The car will be finished at August 20! This is our final date, we made the minimum todo list to finish the car. We will start the testing period!

Just wondering how much it all weighs so far?
Is that body/chassis cover vacuum formed from polywhayeverallyne?

The final weight will be about 90-100kg. It's not vacuum formed, it's hand made like the car bumpers

Really, are car bumpers are hand made. That must be why they are so expensive to replace. I have broke heaps. So, what is the body made from, fibreglass or compisite? Will you modity the motor's oil pick up or gearbox for running in reverse situation?

It's a fiberglass chassis. We don't modify the engine, what do you mean reverse situation? You think that the engine looks backwards in the frame? If yes, then we have a little gear system which reverses the direction of the rotation and drives the pinion gears to the drive shaft. This gear system driven by fan belt from the engine

I think the engine's oil supply comes from under the countershaft/gearbox/transmission/where the front sprocket is mounted so, if the car accelerates quickly, or goes uphill, the top end will run dry, destroying the cam shaft/top end because you have the motor mounted facing backwards?

I've just talked a guy, who repairs motorcycles and he said for such a short time, like the uphill run, acceleration, the engine will not damage. He said they worked on street-fighter motors to modify the oil supply, because they goes long time vertical
