Your best bet would to be just upgrade the whole carb itself, Very difficult to get just the bulb. Pick up a Walbro carb or something simular. They work great. I have an extra one here I think.

Nice buggy there, ever think of selling it let me know
Carb around $20-35
Tires $30-$50
The shocks are oil filled. I don't know of any monster truck shocks that bolt right up. But I imagine there are some somewheres. Get some used Savage ones or something the same size.

You need to call him! Email gets slow results. Usually weekends are good to call or evenings around 5pm west coast. I just saw these, keep an eye on them. [link=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34063&item=5981179976&rd=1]link to auction[/link]

RE: Raco JackRabbit Thread
I recently inherited a raco jr and found this thread, this is great. My car needs some work before it will run, I think my servos are fried and I might need a new radio. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hey Paulie, still have the worlds most powefull jackrabbitt?
You should re-post your Pics here so folks can see what a old school large scale can be, its amazing..
This is what got me into the big stuff.
I found, bought ,built up, and sold my Raco Grand National and I regret it still. But I love my Buggy and will never sell it.
Im building a Boat powered by a 25cc Homelite motor. Should get me through the winter building on that..

I'm looking for JackRabbit parts, and and all. I really need a mod pipe, shocks and I'd love to get a set of aluminum trailing arms. Need rear tires/wheels to.
Any help would be great...

RE: Raco JackRabbit Thread
Hey I have a Jackrabbit that a guy at work gave me .... I gave it to my 9 year old. We are trying to get it going, The radio is shot so I bought him a new one for Christmas. It runs great. The roll bars are broken Is there any where to buya new cage? The front bumper is missing. I figured I would have to build something for that .... What is the satus and history with Raco Jack rabbits? It looks to bve a quality unit ..... I heard the company that made them was out of business.... Any Advice would be helpful Thanx . Dan

RE: Raco JackRabbit Thread
Welcome to jacrabbits! New cages are rare. Keep an eye on ebay. Where is your broken at? A man named Wolfgang bought all the last rabbit parts. He still has some available at www.raco.co.at . One of the cool things about jacrabbits are their big and strong with a simplistic design. This means your local hardware store and some clever thinkin can fix just about anything with it. Let me know if you need any help in particular...PB

RE: Raco JackRabbit Thread
Here is an update on the Jack Rabbit project. I installed the new radio / receiver and the stearing still did not work. I found out I had one bad servo. It was set up for two with a y-cable. I am going to try it with just one. I just fabricated a horn but don't have it working yet.
Will it work?
