Default differntial question

anybody know if they make a posi differntial for the monster beetle?? somthing so both wheel spin together and are locked?? if so, do u have a link to the item ?? also what about steel gears?

Dones'nt a normal LSD diff do that is you tighten the screws up?

so i was right. just get an FG LSD, tighten the screws up...bobs your uncle a locked diff?

tightn wat screws up??? inside the diff?
does the mb come w/plastic gears in the diff? sumthns not rite in mine,i havnt took it apart yet so i dont know what gears are in there,but read sumwhere that the spider gears are plastic. andbody know of anywhr to get steel ones??? links please

mate if you get the fg alloy adjustable diff upgrade what you do is put your diff internals into this housing and this gives you two set screws in the new diff housing that allows you to change the limited slip capability from zero to ninety percent by adjusting those screws via a thrust race inside the diff

if your diff internals are no good you can buy a complete adjustable diff you can just bolt on and adjust to your liking

Stock internal bevel gears are metal. There are no FG plastic differential gears.

i thot that it would be pretty stupid to hav plastic gears in there,but i thot i read that sumwhr the other day . so i should go buy the adjustable LS diff . anybody know how much they run about for cost? best place to get one {cheapest place}

I got mine from krikke.com in holland 68 euro ex tax for the upgrade and 128 euro ex tax for the complete one

look around you may get it cheaper but I was happy buying from them

anybody know the page # in the fg catalog for differetials for the MB and for gear kits for the stock diff. im on dial-up and canT download the entire 52mb catalog. also for the mb chassis .
