i found this out when i used to run nitro with my fail safe, it apears to work the same on my gas. i have a venom failsafe so it does the usualy apply to certain setting when radio kicks out. heres what i stumbled upon if you over brake you can get your engine to cut out as if a kill switch was in place. in doing this you can turn your standard failsafe into one that also can cut out the engine.

RE: info share
the only way you could do that
would to be turn the tick over screw right out
but then everytime you moved the stick/lever to brake it would kill the engine
or
use a expensive 3 channel and mix 2 servos together for throttle and brake
but then you would need 2 failsafe's, one for each channel used

im running it this way now i didnt change any of my factory settings on my marder. i dont run a pistol radio, i dont like the feel of them. it takes a good 15 seconds of brake for it to occur.

Would it be worth fiting a second fail safe, one on the steering. That way if you dont have enough battery power to cut the throtle, you might have enough to put it into circles.

RE: info share
it wouldnt hurt to have a second failsafe installed. most failsafes have a voltage cutoff so the risk is low in that area. you should watch out for how much turning is applied so as not to worry about a sudden crash.
