Default Marder to Beetle Conversion

Does anyone know which parts i would need to convert my marder to a beetle. I just need the side mounts, rollcage mount, and the beetle body, right? I know there is a conversion kit, but i dont need the tires, the gear, the exhaust, any of that stuff. I just need the stuff to mount the body to the car. Thanks

marder22....If you already have a beetle body then you will only need the beetle under tray. Part #6203. If you have a FG catalog 3 the part numbers are on page #18. The under tray has two body post side mounts on each side to secure the beetle body. Hope this helped with what you're looking for.

The conversion kits are overpriced IMO- around 300 Euros. I would just buy another RC car. And 500 Euros for the Marder to MT conversion kit is a rip off, another 250 Euros gets you a complete FG MT, and considering getting a engine with a new model (obviously) plus get to keep existing model as it is, plus have another....

You'll need a 90 degree elbow joint for the exhaust and a length of pipe to run out the back.

Without this mod you'll just pump exhaust smoke in to the beetle shell, probably melt it and get all upset
