Help Start FG Bigfoot for 1st time!
Hello all,
I'm trying to start my FG Bigfoot for the first time and need some advice. This might be a stuipid question but I think it's part of my problem. I can't tell when the choke is on or off. Should the switch be up or down? Any other advice would be appreciated!
Thanks
Jeff

Lever down = choke closed
Lever up = choke open
Personally, i never use the choke. I used it a few times when i first got the car but noticed that it will start without the choke so i never use it. Then again i dont run in the winter either.
Are you having trouble starting it?
BTW here is the starting procedure according to the zenoah owners manual.

Thanks yall. I finally got it started yesterday. I don't think I was priming it enough. It ran great. Then, today I was trying to start it for the 3rd tank and something happened in the pull start. Lilke something came loose, because it's not turning the motor. The string spring still works...pulls it back in. I'm hoping it's something simple, I have yet to open it up and look.

get the metal rachet gear for the pull start like hellya has already mentioned. You don't want it to break on field your playing for a little piece you can't get right away.
