Default 27cc CY engines at Tower Hobbies?

I see Tower lists this engine as arriving in late September.

Bet that means they'll be selling a Duratrax version of the Smartech monster trucks.

Hmmmm, more cheap replacement parts..............................

In the link it shows DuraTrax G-27CX Racing Engine Pull Start. Does a pull start really cost that much? I hope that is an engine with a pull start

man the price on these engines are good compared to the nitros. I checked out daves motor and a SIkk 26 i think was under $200 unless i was reading the wrong motor.

Some dude in my area just spent 400 canadian on a nitro engine

You can buy a Sikk 29cc for U$169 which includes everything, pullstart motor, carby, air filter and exhaust

The simple robustness and cost effectiveness is what made me change to large scale and left the nitro scene.

Yup I just bough a OS .91 4 stroke for my cap232 plane it cost me little over $250 for it...not to mention 6 glow plugs at $8+ each cause they croak like mad during breakin

Oh and btw that engine isn't a gaser engine it's a Nitro engine made by Super Tigre for [link=http://www.warheadmt.com/]this[/link]

I am so glad i got out of nitro after being in the scene for 2 weeks. I was surprise to sell my savage at the price i got it for. I think it is time for me to get into custom large scale boats. The offroad scene is cool and all but i am running out of play grounds to fly my Monster Truck. Maybe one weekend boat and the other weekend Monster Truck so i don't get bored so easily.

Has anyone actually put a Sikk 29 in there FG monster truck? I'm just wondering if there is any major improvements and maybe i will tak the G26 and throw it in a boat
