Just my advice, if you are going to drive in dusty places, sand, mud etc, stay away from the k&n paper filters, the foam is much better.

RE: K&N Airfilter
Didnt you have major problems with you motor before because of filtration probs?
Use the stock FG filter! and water repelent cover..
K&N is a nice look but not for RC..

I have to add to the mix, and agree with the others, the K&N filter is not good for dusty, dirt track running.
I had one in my MT for 2 tanks with an outer wear over it. I still had dust stuck to the oil inside the filter. It is obvious that some of it got into the mill as well. I have now gone back to the stock foam filter.

RE: K&N Airfilter
They are right. K&N suck in the dust like a hoover. They are cotton gauze not paper by the way. I learned my lesson with these filters on the Jeep you see under my name. I had $10,000 in upgrades to crawl and off road this thing and a stinking K&N took some life off the motor. That Jeep filter was 4 foot from the groun these cars we run are right at ground level where the dust is comming from. Hell, K&N even sells a FOAM prefilter of there own for dusty running because they know it eats dirt.

That filter is good hellya, and it has a blue alloy shell It's very similar to fg's original monster truck filter, but with a blue twist
Here is a link to the makers of the pitstop filter: http://www.pitstop-tuningcenter.nl/ You can order direct from them, or ask for a retailer in the US, good luck [sm=thumbup.gif][sm=biggrin.gif]
