Cant go 4 days without breaking something :P
Managed to do this somehow.....
Got the bolt out of the hub, but cant get the bolt out of the ball, so im just going to have to replace the ball and the bolt. The bolt is nicely bent, tried bending it back but its surprisingly hard.
I only noticed when I was driving the truck towards me and saw that one side had a rather steep negative camber. Oh well.

That has got to be one of the most common breaks in large scale....or at least the FG monster line anyway. I had to buy a dozen of those so far. I hit insane jumps all the time so I come to expect it. I have since then gotten better bolts and haven't done it in a while.

If someone has a link to bolts (or better ones) and the correct ball thing I'd really appreciate it.

I stripped out the lower threding on that upright on the front of my FG. I replaced the 5 mm pan headscrews with hex heads from Homedepot. They "finger tighten" much easier and Bratch had mentioned to me that he puts a small ziptie straight up in the screw hole and it helps to retain the screw once the threading is stripped out with more pressure making the hole a bit smaller for the 5mm bolt threads to grab onto.

I don't really see why this guys bolt is stuck in the ball. Doesn't that bolt usually just slide through there??

For 12.9 hardness screws check out www.hexcrews.com. Prices are excellent. Shipping and handling is $7 for USPS Priority mail so you will want to put together a decent order so you won't have to order again too soon.

Yeah it wont come off the ball because its so bent out of shape that the lower part of the bolt wont enter the ball.

cut it off with a dremel wheel and shorten the bolt. Try to pull it again. If this does not work, you may have to trim out the entire plastic cup and then use a hammer to pop out the cup fro the hole in the arm. Use a fine pointed tip and slow speed cutting to get plastic away from the bolt and it will pop right out if you can't use plyers. A cheap and easy fix for sure
