$3000 wow...... here is what lauterbacher sells them to US dealers for

Art. 12501 VE 1 / 1.490,- Euro

LAUTERBACHER L 3 Mega-Cross 4-WD Standardmodell mit Zenoah ZG 26 ORC

und kompletter unlackierter Karosserie.

LAUTERBACHER L 3 Mega-Cross 4-WD standard-model with Zenoah ZG 26 ORC

and complete unpainted body

....................Thats $2170.............plus $150 shipping ..........$2320....your dealer is only making $680 profit

Now that the Euro is alot stronger the US dollar doesnt buy as much as it did a year ago.

A year ago $1800 equaled 1490 euros now its $2170....almost $400 more dollars because the dollar is weak

Hey
Do you have a link?
It's only really worth having the link if you're a dealer and are planning on buying 20 or more. Also, I believe such a link (for use only by dealers) would not be something we could allow on the forums. As hellya said, this is what the distributor is charging, it's not available at retail for that price.

Hi guys i think its not fare to say that about how much that shop has made because these shops don't sell cars like sweets. The over heads on a shop to run, per week must be expensive, just look how much it cost's to run your house. One last thing, if there was that much money in it we would all be selling them. Buy the way, i think its a nice bit of kit.

End user price for the L3 Mega-Cross 4WD in Germany is € 1950 inkcluding 19% German VAT, or aprox 1638 ex. VAT
It might be found cheaper elsewhere.

Yeah, though recently I enjoyed the exchange rate because I bought my FG MT JUST Before the price increase, and just sold it too . Hardly lost any value because of the funkiness with the dollar and the euro.

Never said he wasn't. Isn't everybody on this forum? [8D]

Anyway, I do feel sorry for you guys, the dollar is very weak right now. It's great for us. There are some cases where we can order european goods from america, have them delivered back to europe and it's still cheaper than buying them over here. [&:]

Has there been any feedback on the belt drive set up for the four wheel drive. I have not seen any pics of the drive train yet. I have not looked very hard either. Anywhoo, I wonder if it is enclosed to keep junk out? How strong is it?
