The ones on the HPI are just HPI's yellow heavy duty beadlocks to fit the Baja's wheel, FG rims are not beadlocks, but you could use adaptors to use them on an FG.

Here is a pic of the Baja of a friend of mine, also from Denmark, it has a TS Reed buttom and a ESP 30,5 top.

I'm really gutted your friend beat me to it. I have plans for an all black baja, but with a few differences to that one (I'll have a silver chassis for one thing, it'll be the only non black thing). Nice name too, black widow. Mine's gonna be called the Stealth Bajomber. Do you know how he made the shock towers black?

....Don't get me wrong I believe it's his and I do really like the look of it. There just seemed to be something wrong with the perspective that's all.

Well if you haven't seen it yet here is my 4x4 baja'. I just did some work on it this weekend and was tearing it up before I busted a drive shaft. In addition to the 4X4 the vehicle is 95% billet. It also features telescopic rear drive shafts, trailing swingarm suspension, a full ported TS engine with TGN pipe, dual steering servos, twin shocks on each corner, A Ramtech 100% carbon fiber body, and a custom chromolly cage which is very light and significantly stiffens the chassis. This weekend I was tearing it up with two pairs of Hostile MX tires mounted on plastic baja' rims. I also have a set of paddles for hittin the beach. For those of you that are going to the San Fran Beach bash on 2-24-08 I will have this guy out there along with another prototype 4X baja' that I am working on.

Not that it hasnt been said enough times Brice, but that thing is gorgeous. Seems like it would be a bit heavy though..?

It's very heavy. When I was cutting all the parts I didn't have time to optimize the design for weight and strength. So naturally I made it beefy and threw on a powerhouse of a motor. As a result it's about five-ten lbs heavier than it needs to be. This is what you get when you design all the parts and cut them in a two week period. I could go back and redesign and finesse a bunch of things to make it light but I have higher priorities in the que. Right now I just want to enjoy the beast and bash it around.

Brice, you mind if I ask how heavy it actually is? Not that it matters, it's a stunning one off, but I'm just curious HOW much heavier it is than an MT5 for example.
