Thanks,

the breather hole on the tank cap clogged with ice and snow bringing an end to the fun today,

might go back tomorrow and try the rear paddle tires this time,

as i was running hostile mx rears which got no grip on snow covered ice.

THE UPGRADED BUGGIES ARE HERE. IN US AND IN STOCK.

There is the aluminum 2.0, the 29cc and the 23cc.

Take a look at the ads on RCU under large scale ad category. The upgraded buggies have the alloy diff installed, the better steering servo, the vvc shocks on all versions, even the cheap 23cc. The 2.0 and the 29cc comes with the 2.4G radio.

And it has spare parts like a-arms for when they break.

Crazy stuff out there that you can get for your money.

By the way, Ijust read the T1000 manual. Ithought it was REALLY funny that the King Motor manual is an exact copy of the HPImanual, except they left out all of the maintenance procedures that are outlined in the HPI manual. Hysterical!
Hmmm, you know whats hysterical? People who need to read a manual on how to do maintinance on their r/c. I guess the KM brand is for experienced hobbyists.

Other than parts explosions, the people that contribute inthis thread are a better resource!

Sparky25, love that snow vid. You definately need paddles! You're more man than I. Brrrr! I'm hoping it warms up enough here by the time I have a day off next week so I can play. I have new VVC rear shocks for mine I'm ready to try out. We're having our coldest temps in years. How often is it 11-15 degrees with a wind chillhovering near 0 in south Mississippi? If the ponds are still frozen when I get off Tuesday I'm gonna see how well it ice skates. I hope it's above freezing by then though

I've posted parts of these vids before but I was stuck inside from sleet and rain the other day and had nothing better to do....

Thanks, it was enjoyable as i had not run my baja in about 4 weeks,

but it was so cold that day, minus 6 celcius/ 21 degrees fahrenheit during the day and much colder at night ,

the coldest winter here since 1979, we`ve had snow on the ground for almost 4 weeks now,

i couldn`t get my hand to stop shaking while holdng the camera at the start,

your km is runing real good at the moment, just wish it would warm up around here[sm=75_75.gif]

Vert1go -
I never said it wasn't cool to read the manual. Im not saying that having the manual is a bad thing, but totally not necessary for maintenance...IMOa gas powered 1/5 scale is NOTfor beginners. As far as owning a KM, I do. I have the buggy, which I have completely disassembled, and after reading countlessthreads on here and hbf, i'venow decided to go with a complete ground up build comprised of about 10% HPI parts and 90% aftermarket. I want to build a T for racing and want the best parts, which only a few are made by hpi. Im either gonna part out all of the KM parts, or I might reassemble it and stretch the chassis out to fit a 1/4 scale body.
