I dont have it ready yet and the cy engine from ebay would need a new clutch housing because it does not have a mounting hole and even says it in the description.

also the carb that comes with the CY is much better! Walbro WT-668 carb.
overall the CY is much better quality over the km any day of the week
in other words a no brainer of what motor is better
I went throught the same questions on this forum when my second km motor went south
and after all the great input from this site I went with this motor!

It makes my other two km motors look like silly toys!!!

I still think you would be fine without it, but a housing witch would help keep the clutch clean is only about 25 bucks or less

Well again if you beat it hard enough it will not last.
Personally I will use my KM engine until it quits, then a CY will go in. I like the CY engines I think it is a good bag for the buck. This summer I will be doing some 1/5th scale drag racing with my Rampage and I am looking at the 4-bolt Zen for that application.

srt10,
check out rcburnout.com for more info. My boy Pete is looking to setup some national events also.
This year I think we have a few Redcats so the 4wd class will be new & hot!
The baja and FG classes last year were very competitive and fun to watch...
