Hey Guys, got bored so i bought a set of adapters and swapped my KM wheels/tires onto my Tmaxx. HPI brand adapters so they obviously work with Savage too. Would look sweet with Hostile MX tires Also, a pic of my KM waiting for the alloy front and rear shock towers/supports to be installed and shocks to be worked on. And a pic of Swamp Kongs mocked up to the KM. Too bad the kongs have a 14 mm hex.......would be fun

SweetI may have to get some, Ihave about $175 in ebay bucks to use. SRT, you think running all rear baja rims/tires would work on 1/10 nitros? what do you have on your mgt, all fronts or fronts and rears?

Be very careful. The Baja wheels weigh a lot more than nitro wheels. You are putting a lot more stress on the motor.

$175 in ebay bucks!
heck yeah..

runing these big wheels and tires adds a lot of weight and you will need to regear for them
and in that picture those are rears that I have on front and back, and they look perfect on it
I think the Baja Bowties would be sweet on 10th scale nitros to

It is louder than stock but it is more bass sounding w/stinger.....I really like the sound when you crack it wide open and engine revs much faster w/pipe.....also seems to have much more bottom end punch,torque....really spins my proline trencher tires at will now....in dirt, grass,or even on black top!!!! The new turtle racing and full force carbon brake pad set up really slow the beast down w/no brake fad like the stock pads.

Molver you need to upload your pictures via photobucket first. Then when you post in the forms you need to use the image tags then put the URL of the image between the tags.

For example.

URL of image goes between the ][

nice! what kind of powerplant would you put in your km?

ORIGINAL: srt10

Even $500 is a steal for 1/5 scale......a lot of the 1/10 nitro trucks are that much and we all hate tuning those things!
just need an ear for it
I still love my Losi 8ight Truggy! tuning for me is a breeze, no big deal at all
still my favorite rc I own... but soon I may convert my KM to brushless!
If I'm buying a KM again, I would get one with the 29cc motor
but buying a different motor for my KM I went with a GP290 from DDM
3.5hp+ with stuffed crank that revs to the moon for less than $200
http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.88...t.A/id.4449/.f
Same here. Good engine for the price.

Got some footage at the beach today, camera mounted on the roof of my kingmotor KSRC002.
Experimented with some bubblewrap under the camera which worked a lot better than last time, doesn't seem to transfer the vibration so much.

Default RE: King Motors Baja Review with pictures

I recieved my KM baja from Dan just before Christmas and I must say I am impressed! I was worried about the clones and researched them alot before buying one. I am glad I bought it from Dan!

Here is what I found with my buggie. Everything was, for the most part, perfect! There were a couple things that needed to be addressed before I fired it up and ran it but they cant be attributed to Dan, they were just setup problems.

1) The steering was centered using just the sub trim (the servo horn wasent centered) easy fix, zeroed all the trims, centered servo and moved horn.
2) The steering links on the servo horn and sterring turn buckles where a bit loose, tighten them up np
3) With the tuned pipe installed the rear wing would sit on the pipe when mounted, again easy fix installed a couple of rubber washers in between wing and mounts to lift it up off the pipe. Can not tell they are there and looks great.

Other that those, everything looks perfect and after a few warm-up runs I tuned the carb and the thing screams! I have some parts on order now to upgrade fuel lines, all outerwears covers for pull start engine and air filter and upgraded air filter (the stock ones are so much of a PITA to remove and install).

One thing Dan, the little cd that came with the kit was cracked lol cant play it. It isnt a problem but I am thinking it shows more about the radio settings. If anyone can post something that shows all the settings on the radio

Here are a few pics.
