I'm not sure if FG has released an official kit, I know that the Kamitiro one costs an arm and a leg and brings up nothing but controversy about quality.

fg is supose to release the 4x4 conversion kits end of this month you can pre-order them for around $380 shipped

you need to remove the entire 2wd setting.
the 4wd kit does not share anything with the 2wd.
unlike the fs racing, there is add on to conver 2wd to 4wd.

Might be better off considering a vehicle designed completely around a 4wd drive line. Not to start a flame war but i believe that would be the better way to go. Remember this is just my opinion.
