Slope sites in Edmonton Alberta
Hi. I was wondering if there was a site I could do some slope flying at in the Edmonton area. I packed a Bird of Time while for a road trip and I don't think I'm going to find a suitable field to launch at.
Anybody out there know where I can find a place to fly?
thanks in advance!

The one I am familiar with, is approximately 1 km from the East border of the city of Edmonton.
Heading East thru the city on the Yellow Head, after crossing the Saskatchewan River turn south on 17 St, proceed for aprox 1 KM, keep looking on your right for the entrance to a large parking area for the park. Go over the set of railroad tracks and stay to your left. Go for a walk heading south along the Saskatchewan River and you will see the windsock for the electric flyer's field and the bench over looking the valley and river.
If you go to Great Hobbies at the corner of 75 St and Whitemud Drive, there you will be able to get directions to the many RC fields within the city of Edmonton.

Thanks Reg
I'm going to head off to the Hobby Shop today and pick up some toys before I head out that way. I'm going to take a short high start in the event the wind isn't there.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. Stay cool in C.L.
