Default Slope Sites in Las Vegas

Anybody know where I can find a slop-e site in Las Vegas, NV? I haven't had any luck finding (slope) clubs or sites on my own. I am half-way through building a DAW 1-26 and will probably fly it in the thermals for a while, but would like to get into slope flying. Any help would be appreciated....

I dont know of any off hand but might be able to suggest a route to find some. Give the Las Vegas Soaring Society a call (full size) theyre located @ Jean airport. Take a ride down there. I have flown the ridges up above the airport there (full size) and it looks very possible to get to the top of them via AUTO. Take a look... It might lead to some insight, or leads of guys that fly RC also.

I just moved to Vegas and started flying. I had bought a Thermalair ep glider and was flyling the Eldorado Dry Lake. If you are into slope soaring, do yourself a favor, and get a foam wing. There are a lot of small slopes with no real place to land. This town is nothing but rocks and plane shredding plants. There are also catch basins( flood control dams) that I have used. If you want specifics, get back to me
