I am interested in purchasing a scale sailplane and converting to electric power for launch. (motor in the nose) I am curious what this guy is holding in the picture, I know it is a Discus but who makes the particular one he is holding? It is the perfect size and I can't seem to locate it with winglets. What is your opinion on the quality of the kit if in fact you have built one?? Have you seen one that has been converted to e-power and if so how did it fly and thermal??? I have been flying for 15+ years and just want to get a more real looking plane.

Who has the most complete and best quality kit on the market, (3meter) scale, ARF, hardware included, solid wing, not too thin fuse etc....

Would like to be able to thermal this ship plus slope it but want to have the power to get up, I have a 5,000 ft mountain top that is flat and without trees that I will be using for a launch site. Perfect!! Nice fluffy tall grass to land in and great thermal potential.
