Default Phoenix Simulator help

I am just beginning to explore helicopters on the Phoenix flight simulator. When I try the helicopter models, they do not rise off the ground, even with full throttle. Any suggestions? Perhaps there is a setting that needs to be made or changed that is not clear in the instructions. Thanks in advance for any help.

You have to calibrate the controller and if you have the DX5 you may need to flip the reversal switch on front of transmitter.

Since the Phoenix flight simulator DOES NOT come with a transmitter box, it is programmed to follow the parameters programmed into YOUR trasmitter. First you need to make sure you have your transmitter set-up to helciopter mode, and then you continue trobleshooting from there. Then comes the calibration part, and the servo reversal part.

Give us a little more information on the transmitter you are trying to use to better help you.

Actually, you can get the Phoenix software with the DX5e. Other than that I think what Rafael23cc is pretty accurate. You have to use the calibrate option in the software options to setup the remote properly. Some sim software you have to reverse the channels in the software so up is down and down is up, left is right and right is left. You get the picture I'm sure.

Thanks for the correction, I forgot about the new option thru Horizon Hobbies.
