Default How to improve and eventually do 3D

Hello! I've been practising helicopter on the simulator for about 50+ hours now and I have a Blade 230S, I already watched a lot of youtube videos on how to get started, practice with hovers-turns but they don't seem to help...
I'm stuck! I know that it takes time and patience to get more control, and that 50 hours are nothing but, I feel like I will never improve by starting up the simulator and doing random maneuveurs, not knowing what I should learn first and what after...
I'm looking for somebody who can tell me the sequence of steps I should be following, and eventually talk via discord if someone has it.
Thanks in advance

Try not to get too frustrated even though I know it can be challenging at the beginning. It's difficult to try to point u in the right direction without knowing a little more of where u are at in ur development. U said u've spent over 50hrs in SIM. What r u able to do in SIM? R u able to hover stationary tail in? If so, are u able to hover stationary in other orientations? Have u started trying to fly IRL (ur Blades 230s)? If so, how has that gone? Sorry for all the questions, but it helps to know what u've accomplished so far and what it is ur trying to work on now that is frustrating u 👍🏽

Cheers
AJ

The best tip to improve your flying skills I can give you is, #1, shorten your stix on your radio to minimum! Cut out the whole threaded section to start with to make them half the length of the stock!

So I can hover tail in , inverted nose in, the other orientations are difficult to me... I can do basic flips (not in all directions). I tried flying 230s, but I'm too scared to crash it, I only did a few succesful flips, didn't try anything I wasn't comfortable with... I aim to practice primarily in the sim (I use AccuRC 2) because I'm now selling my 230S, maybe buying another heli in the future when I'll be more skilled...
