Default Help on Throttle Cut setup

Setup the throttle cut using sw H on a futaba 9CHP for a raptor v2 heli. When I activate the throttle cut, the servo will close the throttle and I cannot activate the throttle control until I restart my TX. Is this normal?

No it's not normal...is this the sping loaded (trainer) switch?

Everything should go back to normal when the switch is returned to it's normal positon.

Somehow, if I assign to sw H which is the only ones that springs back, It happens, the only way to engage my throttle again is to hold the H switch down and push the throttle stick beyond the cut point.

When I assigned to other sw it is ok.

You need to go into the the throttle cut settings and put
the throttle stick % to 0. And why your there make sure the switch
position is the way you want it. Up is engine off and down is engine
on is the way i got mine. I think whats happen is you got the
throttle stick to cut the engine off also. I think the default setting
is 5 % of the throttle stick is were the engine will shutt off. Make
that 5% --------> 0%

There have been times when (in a panic) that I wanted to cut the engine and it wouldn't because I was at mid stick...so I changed it to 50% so it will cut when I want it too.

Even when I max out the travel on mine it doesnt seem to move far enough to shut the
engine all the way off. It could use just a little more travel. Any ideas?

Increase throttle cut % and/or throttle atv on low side.
