I AM A NEW HELI PILOT. I AM LOOKING FOR HELP IN SETTING UP THIS RADIO. I HAVE READ THE MANUAL SEVERAL TIMES OVER AND NO LUCK, NOT EVEN THE BASICS. BUT I DID FIGURE OUT THE THROTTLE UP FUNCTION(LOL). ITS ON A HAWK iv WITH A 32.

If I remember right, that radio doesn't have pitch curves, so you have to set your pitch with the ATV's. Set your lift stick at half stick, now set your pitch on your heli at +5 or +6 (I have mine at +5) using your ball links. Now move your stick to full stick(all the way up) and see what you have for a pitch, you want about +9, if you have to much use your ATV's to turn it down. Now move your stick all the way down and do the same thing, use your ATV's to set the pitch you want. I don't know your flying ability(I have mine set at -6) if you are a beginner you want about -2. I could type here all day trying to explain how to use that radio and you probably still wouldn't understand. The best thing you could do, is find someone to help you set up your radio and heli. It will save you a lot of time/money and headache's. If stuff is not set up right, it can be a real pain in the ***** to learn how to fly.
