Default Low pitch for learning

The helicopter manual (voyager 50) recommends -2 in the Low Pitch position for hovering is that ok for learning or I have to put 0 degree until I get good skills ?

Follow the instructions, especially if you're new to heli's. -2 degrees at low stick is fine for learning to hover.

It's good to soften up the bottom end when learning to hover. If the manual recommends -2 at low stick in normal mode, I would make it 0 to +1 degrees at first. That way if you panic and drop the stick suddenly you won't hammer the thing into the ground. Just don't try forward flight with that setting! You'll bleed too much head speed trying to get it down and the cyclic control will get very mushy!

Regards,

Mike
