Default Gyro gains?

Hello! I plan on getting a Helicopter very soon! One thing has me slightly concerned though.. "Gyro gain" Can anyone explain what this is and how to do it? I am thinking its the "sensitivity" of the Gyro.. [i.e.: How much it re-acts for a level movement] But I am totaly in the dark as to how it is done.. Thanks!

Hi

I'm quiet new to RC Heli world but based on the experience i have playing with my Dragonfly's Gyro (PG-03), Gain is a sensitivity of the gyro. The higher the gain, the more sensitive it is to the movement detection of the tail.

Many of the gyros available today allow you to control the sensitivity of the gyro from the transmitter using a servo channel connected to the gyro. In general, you will want to set your gyro gain to the highest level of sensitivity that does not cause "tail wagging". If you set the gain too low, you don't get the full benefit of having a gyro.
