Default Does this look right??????

I think that something is wrong, but I am not sure..

this is my Raptor 30v2.

When i spun it up I got huge, huge tail control.

this picture is with my collective stick in the center position and all the way to the left.

Is this what the blades are supposed to be doing..

The servo direction is backwards. Your first pic is showing tail rotors in position for a right turn.

Also check to be sure the belt is running the right way. If you spin the main blades clockwise, the tail will be spinning CCW as viewed from the right side. (if the tail touches it will knock rocks forward not backward).

Do I reverse the servo controls in my radio or do I have to physically reverse the servo... I do have a heading hold gyro, I dont knwo if this will make a difference with it having to be reversed.

you flip the switch on the radio to reverse the servo.

If the gyro acts to increase rate of turn instead of dampen it... you either have the gyro upside down 9cheapie peizo gyros) or need to read you gyro manual on how to reverse it.)

I got a free gyro from someone... he said it worked against him instead of for him... he had been mounting the thng upside down.

Its a good idea to double check that the gyro is reacting in the corect direction before you fly it. To do that simply turn on your TX and RX grab the tail, move it to the right (left turn) and the gyro should try to move the pushrod forward.

Is this a first heli?

If so, be sure to find someone to help you get it checked out and in the air. It is a blast, but getting started can be pretty tough on a newcomer, especially if they are on their own.
